What the official Alibaba pricing page does—and does not—show
Alibaba Cloud Model Studio documents output-second billing for video generation and publishes Wan 2.7 text-to-video rates of $0.10/sec at 720p and $0.15/sec at 1080p in its Singapore deployment. As of this price check, that official table contains no wan3.0 model ID. Those 2.7 numbers therefore provide context only; they are not a Wan 3.0 quote.
Why Wan 3.0 prices are easy to miscompare
Resolution and tier change the rate sharply
On Cheap.dev, Standard rises from $0.06/sec at 480p to $0.24/sec at 1080p, while Prime rises from $0.09/sec to $0.35/sec. A provider headline that omits resolution or tier cannot be compared safely.
Consumer plans are not API billing units
A site may sell an allowance for a web generator while its API remains unavailable. Unless it publishes API access plus a price for a specific model configuration, the plan does not yield a reproducible API cost.
Wan 2.7 is not a substitute price
Even when adjacent versions share a billing unit and API shape, their inference costs can differ. Forecasting with Wan 2.7 is reasonable only when it is labeled as a forecast—not as the current Wan 3.0 rate.
Which Wan 3.0 API should you choose?
